About ROOTS
In 2009, Lebanon Seaboard Corporation acquired ROOTS Inc., a leader in the development and application of organic-based fertilizers, mycorrhizal fungi, biostimulants, and micronutrients for the turf, horticultural and agricultural markets.
The Lebanon Seaboard Corporation acquisition of ROOTS allowed our customers to realize several significant benefits, including:

Research & Development
The Lebanon Seaboard staff of scientists are continuously developing new strains, products, processes, and applications. The company expands its capabilities with numerous university collaborations including Virginia Tech University and the University of Wisconsin.
The research department has Ph.D.-level expertise in microbial physiology, microbial genetics, and biochemical engineering and coordinates application technology development with the Lebanon Seaboard technical services and engineering support personnel. Our company has set the industry standard for bioaugmentation technology and maintains a leadership position in new product development.

Our latest innovation in nutrition is Expo(TM),which is a cost-effective source of controlled-release potassium sulfate which extends the benefits of potash. Our turfgrass-breeding program has produced many NTEP top rated seed varieties.
